Mindfulness for Practitioners:
4-Week Online Course
Cultivating Calm, Clarity, & Connection for Practitioners, Therapists and Coaches.

Join Our Online Mindfulness for Practitioners Course: Discover the Art & Science Being Present, Holding Therapeutic Space, & Compassionate Connection.
In today’s fast-paced, and complex world, it’s easy to feel distracted, disconnected, and overwhelmed. As complexity seems to be increasing our role as practitioners gets more challenging. The Mindfulness for Practitioners Course offers a transformative opportunity to slow down, restore balance, nurture peace of mind and reconnect with your inner wisdom. Over four weeks, you will develop the skills to cultivate inner calm and clarity while rediscovering a compassionate connection to both yourself, your clients and the wider web of life, an essential skill in being an effective practitioner.
Whether you're guiding clients in therapy, in a care giving role, or working in the community, mindfulness for practitioners provides personal and professional development for practitioners, counsellors, coaches and therapists. Mindfulness is more than a practice—it’s a powerful therapeutic skill that is emergent in the present moment. Grounded in neuroscience and psychological principles, this course provides evidence-based strategies to expand awareness, enhance emotional intelligence, and foster deeper relational connection.
Why Mindfulness For Practitioners?
Modern life often pulls us away from the natural flow of existence, leaving us feeling numb, isolated from one another and disconnected from ourselves. As therapists we need to be able to sustain our therapeutic presence and show up fully for the clients we support. Mindfulness bridges this gap, empowering you to navigate the stress response, reclaim agency and compassionate connection, supporting you to hold space for the human condition with authenticity, skilfulness and unconditional positive regard. Through systematic practice, creative exercises, interpersonal dialogue, and guided reflection, you’ll learn:
-
Therapeutic Application: The course provides structured guidance on using mindfulness techniques to support client wellbeing, including stress reduction, emotional regulation, trauma-informed care, and fostering presence in sessions.
-
Ethical & Safe Practice: Emphasis is placed on professional boundaries, ethical considerations, and adapting mindfulness practices to different client needs within a therapeutic setting.
-
Personal Practice & Holding Space: A key component of the course is the practitioner’s own mindfulness practice, which is essential for cultivating self-awareness, resilience, and the capacity to hold space effectively for clients.
-
Diversity & Inclusion: The course explores how mindfulness can be adapted to diverse cultural and personal backgrounds, ensuring accessibility and sensitivity in therapeutic applications.
-
Emerging Practice: Participants engage with contemporary mindfulness-based therapeutic approaches, such as ACT, MBCT, and nature-based mindfulness, which are increasingly recognised in psychotherapy.
